Social
Social events are an important aspect of any organization on campus, and the Newman Community is no exception. There are a variety of events that are planned by the Social Chair and there is always an opportunity for socialization at out weekly meetings.
Events include ice cream socials after Masses, cookouts, and trips to Strouds Run, and sometimes just hanging out together. These events give the members an opportunity to become better friends and to form close relationships within the community. The relationships formed within Newman are often lasting. Your Newman friends will become your support system through both the joys and trials of college life. Attending social events is a great way for members who are unable to attend weekly meetings due to scheduling conflicts to stay active in the community. Outside events allow Newmaners an opportunity to relax with friends! "For where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am among them"
